How does the Ryuga 52kW protect itself from heat?
The motor is naturally air cooled. An integrated 10k NTC thermistor and a thermal protection system feed real time motor temperature to a compatible controller, which manages heat and applies protection as needed. The insulation class is 250°C, the housing is sealed to IP67 and the shaft is 40CrMoTi alloy steel, which Ventus specifies for reliability in demanding off-road conditions.
