Shipments to the Contiguous 48 US States

To ensure we can offer the most accurate pricing to our customers, shipping will be charged on all orders.

We work closely with our warehouses to ship products from the closest GritShift warehouse whenever possible to expedite delivery.

Each product page will display an estimated ship date and availability status, which will also be shown in your shopping cart and order confirmation email. Some items may be marked “Ships Within 24 Hours,” meaning they will be shipped the same or the next business day. Orders placed earlier in the day have a better chance of shipping the same day. 

Items marked “Ships within 3-5 days” require lead time before shipment and cannot be shipped the same day.

While we strive to ship from the closest GritShift warehouse, stock availability may vary. Some orders may be split into multiple shipments, while others may be consolidated into a single package to optimize delivery times.

A shipping confirmation email with tracking information will typically be sent within 24 hours of shipment. For example, if your order ships Tuesday morning, you will receive tracking details by Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.

Most orders are shipped via UPS, but we may also use USPS, FedEx, or DHL depending on the order and delivery location.

Shipping Method Explanation

Business days are Monday-Friday; Holidays, Saturday, and Sunday are not included in shipping days. Shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. For a more specific delivery ETA based on the exact item(s) you want to purchase, please contact us at support@gritshift.com before placing an order.

Shipping Speed

We have various shipping speed options. All available options will be displayed on the checkout page with the specific options available for the parts added. These options can include the following listed below. If you do not see one of the options listed below, it is likely not available for the item you have selected.

  3. UPS Next Day Air
  4. UPS 2 Day Air
  5. UPS Ground
  6. UPS Ground Advantage
  7. DHL Express
  8. USPS Priority
  9. USPS Standard
  10. FedEx Standard

Shipping Changes

Shipping changes after the order is shipped, such as intercepts, address change, and will call pick-up may be subject to a $25 Service fee per shipment (This is simply passing along the fee billed to us by the carrier to make the change when in transit).

PO Boxes

Orders shipping to PO Boxes may require 1-2 business days processing before shipment in order to ensure delivery via the US Postal Service. Please contact customer service for the most accurate delivery estimates. Additionally, certain oversize items may be restricted from delivery to a PO Box depending on the policies of the receiving facility. If we are unable to ship your item to a PO Box, we will contact you.


Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories

Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, and U.S. Virgin Islands will typically ship via the United States Postal Service. In some instances, packages may also ship via UPS Ground. Please allow an additional 1-5 business days to process your order. 

Additional Fees May apply when shipping to areas outside of the contingent 48 US states. 

E-Bike Shipping

E-bikes will be shipped via freight. Shipping for E-bikes is charged during the checkout process unless you have selected for local pickup. E-bikes will ship using the most effective carrier available for your area of delivery and order date.  

Shipping damages

Damages during shipping must be reported within 5 days of receiving the item. Damaged shipment claims made after 5 days will not be eligible for coverage with shipping insurance. 

    International Orders

    Orders shipping to an International destination will typically ship via USPS or UPS. Please allow an additional 1-5 business days to process your order. 

    Shipping fees will apply for international orders and will be calculated at checkout. 

    The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. This recipient is responsible for these charges, If charges are refused by the recipient a refund may not be eligible on the order, We will incur various fees to get the item returned to us, and these fees will be deducted from any refund owed. 

    Delivery Policy

    Typically packages will be left at your door and do not require a signature. Sometimes we will ship an item vendor directly and those vendors may require a signature on their shipments. If you need one way or the other, please contact Customer Service before placing your order.

    Lost/Stolen Orders

    Once your package leaves our shipping department, GritShift is not held responsible for errors made within the shipping service, provided by USPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL. We do not refund, nor send replacements for items that are marked "delivered", GritShift will not refund nor replace any items that are shipped to an incorrect address at the fault of the buyer.

    GritShift provides tracking information as soon as possible for all products in each order. Please refer to this email for tracking information to ensure someone is available to receive the package, or that there is a safe place for your package to be delivered to. 

    GritShift policy is to ship orders with shipping insurance to cover the value of the order to achieve the greatest confidence in your purchase!

    GritShift will assist in placing a claim with the shipping company on your behalf to recoup the value of the products that have been stolen or lost during shipping. If this claim is successful, we will promptly provide a replacement product for your order.

    If the customer places the claim with the shipping company, GritShift will not issue any refunds or ship replacement products regardless of the claim status. The Shipping company will pay you directly if your claim is accepted, and GritShift is unable to submit a claim on packages once one is already opened. Please contact us first if you are unsure of the claims process.
