Why swap the stock Ultra Bee pegs for a wider platform?
Warp 9's case is simple: the stock pegs are small, and a small peg leaves your feet hunting for grip. At 3-5/8 by 2-3/8 in (89 x 58 mm) the Elite platform puts far more peg under the boot, and stainless teeth bite into the sole so you can stand, weight the outside peg and steer with your feet instead of thinking about foot placement. Moving the platform 1/4 in rearward of the OEM location is the only change to the riding position.
How strong are forged Elite pegs compared with cast ones?
Each peg is forged first and CNC machined second, which is why Warp 9 says they shrug off the rock strikes and drops that bend lesser pegs. Riders chasing grams can fit the optional Warp 9 titanium pins and titanium peg screws, and titanium teeth are also offered; all are sold separately, as are the Elite Foot Peg Sliders.
How do the Elite pegs install on an Ultra Bee?
They mount with the Ultra Bee's own springs and pivot pins, so you pull the stock pin, swap the peg and spring over and refit it.
