Why replace the OEM E Ride suspension bolts?
Heavy Hitter developed this kit after real-world testing bent the soft OEM steel rear suspension bolts repeatedly. A bent bolt is more than a strength problem: it seizes in the linkage and triangle and makes routine service a fight. Turned 4140 chromoly, heat-treated for added strength, resists bending, shear and deformation under heavy impacts, and the flanged hex head with an integrated 6 mm internal hex lets you remove each bolt from either side. Heavy Hitter intends the kit for riders who want race-level durability from the rear suspension and an end to seized hardware during maintenance.

What torque do the E Ride linkage and shock bolts take?
The three M8x1.25 bolt sizes (60 mm, 50 mm and 52 mm) all torque to 32 Nm (24 ft·lb). The shoulder screw torques to 28 Nm (21 ft·lb). Apply medium-strength thread locker and use a torque wrench; the heads carry a 6 mm internal hex and a 12 mm external hex so each bolt comes out from either side.
