Designed specifically for the Sur Ron Ultra Bee, the Heavy Hitter Outlaw Skid Plate is engineered to be the last skid plate your bike will ever need. Built with 7075-T6 billet aluminum side rails and a replaceable bash plate, this system weighs just 2.41 lbs while being capable of handling over 6,000 lbs of impact force. The result is a serious protection upgrade for riders who push their Ultra Bee into hard enduro terrain, rocky trails, and aggressive riding conditions.
Through years of racing events like TKO Hard Enduro, we refined the bash plate geometry to reduce drag when sliding over rocks, logs, and trail obstacles. The optimized angles help the bike glide over terrain rather than hang up. In testing, we even compared it to plastic skid plates and found the aluminum design slides more easily because objects don’t embed themselves into the surface during impact.
Protection goes beyond just the motor. The Outlaw Skid Plate has a slightly larger front bash plate designed to work with both OEM and aftermarket controllers, ensuring a tight fit on aftermarket while protecting exposed phase wires from sticks, rocks, and trail debris. Unlike flexible plastic skid plates that can deflect into the motor under impact, this rigid structure prevents contact that could otherwise damage motor housings or mounts.

These skid plates were pushed to the limit during the Red Bull Tennessee Knockout Hard Enduro, where bikes faced miles of brutal rocky climbs, drops, log sections, and rhythm obstacles.
