The Heavy Hitter Primary Drive Conversion Kit was designed for those wide-open throttle riders who just keep snapping belts. Replacing a belt drive with a chain drive will lower the bike's efficiency, which in turn affects power delivery. Chain drives are stronger, just not as efficient. Heavy Hitter's goal with this chain drive is to give you maximum performance by providing the lightest kit on the market with the least amount of rotating mass!
After almost a year of iterations and updates to make this kit the best on the market for performance, yes, we have tested vulcanized rubber primary sprockets for noise reduction, but that significantly reduced performance. So this is what you get for the best kit on the market! Rear primary sprocket made from 7075 T6 Billet Aluminum (Black Anodized Finish), Front primary sprocket made from 52100 Tool Steel (Nitrided, W/Black Surface Coating), The chain provided is a Non-O-Ring chain W/Master Link for the least amount of rotating resistance and easy replacement.
We have tested the Heavy Hitter chain drive kit against all other kits available in the market, and the sprocket's lifespan is very comparable due to the precision sprocket alignments on the Heavy Hitter kit, and due to the overall rotational weight of the kit. This chain drive is louder than a belt drive system, but no louder than most kits on the market. The Heavy Hitter primary drive could be even quieter if you installed your own O-Ring chain however, that will affect performance!
NOTE: This conversion kit maintains your bike's original gear ratio, and OEM motor alignment. Your bike's fitment will be labeled on the motor sprocket and should always face outwards!
