What does a shock sock actually do?
Mud, rocks, sand and debris thrown at the rear shock scratch the shaft and grind into the seals, and damaged seals shorten shock life, especially in wet or gritty riding conditions. A 4 mm neoprene sleeve over the shaft keeps that material off the sealing surfaces, so the shock lasts longer between rebuilds.
Will it fit my bike?
