What bikes does the Heavy Hitter 4340 10 mm jackshaft bolt fit?

  • E Ride Pro-S, 2023 to 2025
  • E Ride Pro-SS, 2023 to 2025
  • E Ride Pro-SS 2.0, 2023 to 2025

A 2026 or newer E Ride Pro-S or Pro-SS may already carry the new 12 mm hardware. Check your bolt before ordering; 12 mm bikes take the Heavy Hitter 300M Chromoly Upgraded 12MM E Ride Jackshaft Bolt.

Why does Heavy Hitter use 4340 chromoly for the jackshaft?

Titanium and Grade 12.9 bolts were tested and rejected for this job because their composition makes them brittle: they snap instead of bending and leave the rider stranded on the trail. 4340 chromoly, turned and then heat-treated, eliminates that risk. The bolt is stronger than the OEM hardware and its bend-not-snap failure mode keeps you riding even after a hit that would have broken a harder bolt.

Is a 10 mm jackshaft bolt strong enough for hard riding?

The E Ride 1.0 and 2.0 design limits any aftermarket jackshaft bolt to a 10 mm shaft, which Heavy Hitter calls inherently small. Even with the best material, riders who send it hard will likely bend any bolt on the market and may unknowingly bend the swingarm as well; repeated chain derailment without hitting anything is a sign of swingarm flex. This bolt is the best plug-and-play option for the stock swingarm. For the ultimate fix, Heavy Hitter points to the Rogue 2.5 Inch Extended E Ride Billet Swingarm and the Rogue Stock Length E Ride Billet Swingarm.

How do I install the 10 mm jackshaft bolt?

Swap it for the OEM bolt in the stock swingarm using a 6 mm Allen on the head and a 14 mm hex on the included flange nut. No torque figure is published on the product page for this bolt, so use the value in your E Ride service documentation and check chain alignment after the swap.
