What does the V2 design change?
The V2 re-optimizes the bash plate angles for enduro riding so the plate slides over obstacles without dragging or losing momentum. Controller fitment is tighter, keeping the phase wires protected from sticks and rocks. Ventilation slats keep the motor cool, and the extended tail section guards against perpendicular strikes. The plate also adds rigidity to the frame while protecting the motor.
Why aluminum instead of plastic?
Aluminum skids over rocks and logs more easily than plastic because sharp surfaces cannot embed into it. When the bash plate does take a hard hit, it is a separate replaceable part rather than the whole plate.
How do I install it?
You need a 6 mm Allen wrench, a T20 Torx bit, a torque wrench and medium-strength (blue) thread locker. Apply thread locker to all hardware. Torque the four M8×20 side-rail screws to 18 Nm (13 ft·lb) and the sixteen M4×10 Torx plate screws to 2.6 Nm (1.9 ft·lb / 23 in-lb).
