Why replace the stock Arctic Leopard XE Pro linkage?
The Heavy Hitter linkage is designed for racing abuse. Bearing width grows from 20 mm to 24 mm to spread load and extend durability, precision-fit bearings and bushings remove slop, and the 7075-T6 billet construction delivers consistent performance with increased strength and reliability over the stock part.
Does it change the suspension geometry?
Yes, deliberately. The linkage adjusts the shock angle while maintaining the OEM linkage travel ratio, so the suspension keeps its stock progression. The re-optimized geometry also improves clearance between the shock spring and the rear triangle crossmember, which allows rear shocks with a larger spring diameter to fit.
How do I maintain it?
Two grease ports let you grease the bearings without disassembly, and the press-fit nylon seals keep water and debris out of the bearing interface. The low-friction interface design eliminates bearing drag for smoother articulation.
What hardware do I need?
