The controller spans a stock setup to a full high power build, but on an unmodified Sting the limits are set by the bike. EBMX states that the OEM Talaria motor safely runs up to 12 kW, with 14 kW tested on an MX3 at 72V. The stock MX3 battery safely runs up to 8.5 kW and the MX4 battery up to 11 kW while non bypassed; pushing past those figures causes unsafe voltage sag. What tuning does the Talaria Sting X9000 V3 kit give the rider?
Six customizable power levels, adjustable speed limiters per ride mode, a street and race mode toggle, regen tuning and field weakening are all set from the free app over the Bluetooth module, with OTA firmware updates. The Wheel Lift Assist system reads an integrated IMU to control front end lift under acceleration, launches and climbs, and is tunable for anti loop, launch control or stunt mode.
