If you're looking to upgrade to motocross-style wheels with durability and longevity built in, look no further than the latest design from Warp 9. Warp 9 has a history of making quality dirt bike parts, and their new e-bike line is no exception.
This wheel comes fully assembled with a 203mm stock-size brake rotor and a 48-tooth sprocket already bolted on and Loctite’d. Just add a tire, tube, and rim strip and you’re off. Recommended tire size is 90/100-18.
One of our favorite features is the new hub design in which the brake rotor’s bolt pattern is now shared between the front and rear wheels. That means you can upgrade to bigger rotors on the rear without having to drill out a front rotor to make it fit, which is how us old people had to do it in the before times. This wheel is designed to fit Sur Ron and Segway e-bikes, and can also fit on a Talaria Sting when paired with our Sur Ron to Talaria Wheel Adapter Kit!
But that’s not all. Warp 9’s latest design now boasts quad wheel bearings to improve longevity with less maintenance over time. The spokes have been beefed up as well, with 10-gauge spokes in a 3-cross pattern, adding strength and rigidity to an already strong rim. This is a huge upgrade over the 12-gauge and 2-cross design our bikes come with from the factory. And with an anodized black hub and rim, silver spokes and silver nipples, this wheel has a stylish motocross look that will give a distinct, hardcore look to any e-bike.
