Choose 120 or 130 links; each is a gold sided, non o-ring chain sold with its connecting link.

Fitment:

Universal 428 Chain

NOTE: Non-sealed chain for bikes that came with a non-sealed chain

Renthal calls the R1 a high-performance, lightweight, low-friction, non o-ring chain specifically engineered for racing at the highest levels, often described as the best motocross chain available. It has high resistance to elongation and to the severe abrupt stresses of MX and SX racing, which Renthal achieves by manipulating the raw material composition to raise tensile strength and yield strength.

Every R1 Works Chain has chamfered inner links, extended bushings and shot-peened outer plates, with manufacturing processes that reduce weight in a chain Renthal says can be trusted to deliver maximum power output in any condition. There is no seal, so it needs the regular cleaning and lube any non-sealed chain does.

Renthal rates the 428 R1 at an ultra-high 4,496 lb average tensile strength. The extended bushings reduce friction between the outer and inner link plates to maximize power transmission, the bearing pins are case-hardened alloy steel for maximum resistance to wear, and the gold-colored side plates help reduce corrosion.
