Description

The Renthal Fatbar is a braceless 1-1/8 inch (28.6 mm) handlebar in Renthal's 7010-T6 aluminum, offered here in 12 bends with the numbers for every one in the chart below. Each bend takes its shape from a full-size motocross bike or a factory rider's setup, so you can put the cockpit of the gas bike you know on your e-moto, from the low 821 McGrath Short to the tall 609 RC High. Every bar comes with Renthal's injection molded foam bar pad.

Fitment:

  • Universal 1-1/8 Inch Bar Clamps

NOTE: Needs 1-1/8 inch (28.6 mm) bar mounts; on a bike built for 7/8 inch bars, fit 1-1/8 inch mounts first.

Renthal builds the Fatbar braceless to cut weight while keeping strength high and to let the bar flex a little for comfort, then shot-peens and anodizes it to resist corrosion. It steps down to 7/8 inch at the controls, so standard 7/8 inch levers, throttles and grips fit, and a laser-etched grid helps you line it up in the clamps.

Renthal says sweep (E), height (B) and width (A) matter most when you pick a bend. Height runs from the clamp center to the grip center, and taller or long-legged riders should look at more of it. Width, grip end to grip end, should suit your shoulder width and arm length. Sweep is how far the ends pull back toward you, and it changes as you roll the bar forward or back in the clamps.

Each bend name points to the bike or rider it copies. The 604 follows the Honda CR / CRF and Kawasaki KX / KXF bar, the 672 the KTM SX / SXF, Suzuki RM / RMZ and Yamaha YZF, the 821 McGrath the 2016 and newer KTM SX125 to 450, the 831 the 2013 and newer KTM SX85 and 2017 and newer Husqvarna TC85, and the 839 the 2018 and newer Honda CRF. The 814 and 819 are ATV bends for the Kawasaki KFX450 and Yamaha YFZ450, and the 673 is a trials bend.

Setting up a new cockpit? The Heavy Hitter Viper Adjustable Direct Mount Stem clamps 31.8 mm or 1-1/8 inch bars.
