Description

If you're one of the few riders who wants to push your E Ride to the absolute limit – far beyond what the stock mountain bike-derived front end can handle, we introduce the Heavy Hitter 85MX Conversion Kit!

This precision machined CNC 7075 aluminum bearing cup kit, allows a tight press fit to your frame's steer tube. This kit comes with new bearings, and cups, which will completely replace your OEM cups and bearings. You will only need to source your own KTM, Gas Gas, or Beta, complete 85cc front end, which will allow you to use the forks, triples, wheel, and brake.

We found the 85cc KTM platforms are sprung very accurately for the weight of the E-Bike, especially factoring in the added weight of an upgraded bike. If you’re at this point in your build, you have probably added about 20+ pounds to your bike already from a bigger battery and additional accessories, and the Big Sender kit is the icing on the cake.

Fix all your problems. Not only does this kit let you tack on a far more robust set of forks, you can also dial in your settings in ways MTB forks cannot. You can now run your choice of KTM 85 MX forks and a wider variety of front wheels, and the short service intervals of the OEM front forks are eliminated.

Features

  • Take your e-bike to another level of capability with the Heavy Hitter Big Sender kit
  • Convert your e-bike to run real MX forks from a KTM 85
  • Eliminate weak failure points and short service intervals of OEM front-end
  • Gain the ability to dial in settings for your weight and riding style
  • Pre-pressed bearing races for simple install

Technical Notes

A complete KTM 85 MX front end is required. This usually ranges from $799 to $2,599. A complete front end consists of fork tubes, triple clamps, front braking system, front wheel (19" recommended), front axle, and MX style handlebars. Price is largely dependent on which fork style you choose: Dual cartridge spring forks are heavier but cheaper, whereas air forks found on 2018+ models are lighter but more expensive. From our experience, we would choose air forks every time.
