The set has two custom shock mount bolts and two titanium lock nuts, and it replaces the OEM hardware with no modification. Nine anodized and PVD finishes.

Fitment:

Talaria XXX

NOTE: Shock hardware is safety-critical. Install with a torque wrench to spec, neither over nor under-torqued, with blue Loctite 243 on the threads, and allow 24 hours to cure before riding.

The rear shock mounts are a high-stress area on the XXX, and worn hardware there shows up as bushing wear. Titanium Surron designed these bolts so the threads do not protrude into the bushing, which the maker says reduces wear in the rear suspension. You get two custom bolts and two lock nuts.

The parts are machined from certified Grade 5 (6AL-4V) titanium alloy. Titanium Surron rates the alloy at the same strength as steel at 45% of the weight and the kit at 45% lighter than the OEM hardware. The anodized or PVD coating resists corrosion in wet conditions and comes in Burnt Blue, Black, Gold, Green, Rainbow, Purple, Blue, Raw Titanium (Silver) and Teal.

Because the shock mounts carry the rear end, treat the install as a torque job, not a hand-tight one. Set each bolt to the factory value with a torque wrench and let the Loctite cure before the first ride.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0511/3964/1496/files/talaria-xxx-titanium-rear-shock-mount-hardware-4-pieces-846683.jpg?v=1791825976
