did-428nz-non-sealed-chain
D.I.D 428NZ Non-Sealed Clip Link Drive Chain

The D.I.D 428NZ is a non-sealed 428 chain that D.I.D says gives greater performance than the OEM non-sealed chain on mini and vintage bikes, sized here for e-minis and e-motos with a 428 pitch drive. Choose 120 or 130 links in black or gold; each chain comes with a clip type connecting link.

Fitment:

Universal 428 Chain

NOTE: Non-sealed chain for bikes that came with a non-sealed chain

D.I.D rates the 428NZ at 5,740 lbs tensile strength with a chain life index of 410, at 2.2 lbs per 100 links. The pins carry D.I.D's DHA treatment, a hard chromium-carbide layer formed on the pin surface for wear resistance, and they are quad-stake riveted into solid bushings, which D.I.D credits for great performance, strength and chain life.

Dimensions from D.I.D: pin length 0.744 in, pin diameter 0.177 in, and 2 mm inner and outer plates. There is no seal, so it needs the regular cleaning and lube any non-sealed chain does, and it is the right replacement only on a bike that came with a non-sealed chain.

D.I.D.
