How does the 28KW Light motor handle heat and sensing?
An integrated ABZ + PWM encoder gives the controller precise motor position feedback, and a 10k NTC temperature sensor lets a compatible controller watch motor temperature and apply protection in real time. For sustained high output riding the motor uses an oil cooled design with premium sealed bearings, VPI insulated stator windings and a high strength 40CrMoTi steel shaft, inside an IP67 rated housing. Ventus states that this motor is plug and play only with its VTB Aetos / 9600 controllers; with any other controller the connectors have to be repinned and rewired first.
